字体设计在平面设计中主要是字体创意与字体的版面编排。好的字体创意或好的字体版面编排,无形中就创造了平面设计中视觉的亮点,同时也起到了画龙点睛的作用。与此同时的,随着文字图形化的加强而逐步也美化,我们可以将每一个单独的文字看做一个精致的图案,两者之间在不断的相互促进并相互作用着。同样,它们也相互区别着,图形比文字更主观、更直接、更富于变化与创造力,而文字在传递信息的准确度上要远远优于图形,但形式上不如图形灵活,略显单一。,中文的存在是一个具有民族特性的设计作品,是独具魅力的存在,而书法艺术则是将文字图形化的一个重要表现形式,它将中文推到另一个高度,作为我国灿烂文明中的一颗璀璨明珠,在设计领域中应用的越来越广泛,随着它在包装设计中应用范围的不断扩大,它为我们提供了极其丰富的设计元素,不但使包装作品更有民族特点,还使得书法艺术焕发了蓬勃的生机。研究字体设计的形式美感在平面设计中的应用,并着重于书法艺术在平面设计中的运用,尝试在论述文中各相关内容时,阐述字体设计的形式美感在平面设计中的重要意义与应用。
